Torwell PLA Carbon Fiber 3D Printer Filament, 1.75mm 0.8kg/spool, Matte Black

Torwell PLA Carbon Fiber 3D Printer Filament, 1.75mm 0.8kg/spool, Matte Black

Description:

PLA Carbon is an improved Carbon Fiber reinforced 3D printing filament. It’s made using 20% High-Modulus Carbon Fibers (not carbon powder or milled caron fibers) composited with premium NatureWorks PLA. This filament is ideal for anyone that desires a structural component with high modulus, excellent surface quality, dimensional stability, light weight, and ease of printing.

Carbon fiber filaments are composite materials formed by infusing fragments of carbon fiber in a polymer base, similar to metal-infused filaments but with tiny fibers instead. The polymer base can be of different 3D printing materials, such as PLA, ABS, PETG or nylon, among others.

Increased strength and stiffness, Good dimensional stability, Overall nice surface finish. Light weight which makes this 3d filament a good choice for drone builders and RC hobbyists.

Torwell, an excellent manufacturer with more than 10years experiences on 3D printing filament.

    Why PLA Carbon Fiber filament?

Torwell PLA-CF is a carbon PLA 1.75mm with high strength and high rigidity while displaying good toughness. PLA carbon fiber 3D printer filament also features an incredible satin and matte finish which makes the print looking very smooth.
Carbon Fiber (containing 20% carbon fiber, in weight) is combined with PLA to form a strong plastic which is ideal for printing items requiring added strength, more abrasive than standard PLA.

    Important Note

    A. Carbon Fiber is more brittle than standard PLA in its filament form, so pls do not bend and handle it carefully to prevent breakage.

    B. We recommend to use a 0.5mm nozzle or bigger one to avoid excessive clogging.

    C. Please install an abrasive resistant nozzle on your printer before printing with Torwell PLA-CF such as a stainless-steel nozzle. As carbon fiber PLA filament is more sensitive to moisture, please make sure not to use it in high moisture environment and put it back to the resealable bad after use.

    FAQ

Q: Is the carbon fiber made of carbon fiber powder or short carbon fiber or continuous carbon fiber?

A: Torwell carbon fiber is generally made of chopped carbon fiber.

Q: What is your carbon fiber length?

    A: 1-3mm

Q: Is your carbon fiber high modulus, medium or standard?

A: Torwell carbon fibers are medium modulus.

Q: How much carbon fiber content?

A: Torwell pla filament have approximately 20% carbon fiber content.
